Base and Shade Stamping with Lucy WOTG

Have you tried Base and Shade stamping before?  It is one of my favorite things to do for stamping!  Basically we have two stamps, one has a solid image and the other has the outline of the solid image, then we could stamp these two images to combine into one.  The outline defines the image much better than without it, and the color combo gives the image a lot of interest.  Take a look at the card below and you'll see what I mean:


I stamped the flowers in Creme Brulee then the outlines in Grey Wool.  Don't you think that the outline gives a lot of interest and depth to the flowers?
