As mentioned, I've made a couple of cards that are glaring bright. Have your sunglasses ready!
The first one I am sharing made use of the oh-so-popular hexagons:
I think hexagons and I have a weird relationship. I love hexagons but I often find it/them challenging to use on m cards. They appear to be easy to line up for a background but when I actually do it something became crooked and the whole project has to be trashed. The Honeycomb stamp set from Close to My Heart was the one I bought when I first saw it. I tried to use it but all those projects were ripped and trashed. I think finally I have made something that is not too embarrassed to share. There are just so many failures behind this card that I do not want to count.
This card made use of the color scheme at Sunday Stamps!
And the card is entering the challenge at Friday Mashup - hexagons and girly project:
Thanks for stopping by!
I think this is perfection! I just love your placement of the hexagons and the great colours - wonderful take on both the challenges. Thanks for sharing with us at The Friday Mashup this week!
ReplyDeleteI love that you used Honeycomb Flair for this challenge--it is one of my favorite current CTMH stamp sets. I really like the way that you arranged the hexagons too! Thanks for playing along with us at Sunday Stamps this week!
