Isn't it cute?
I love the colorful butterflies!
In case you are wondering how a border die will result in independent butterflies, here's how: I ran the border die 4 times on white card stock. Then I snipped off those partial butterflies but kept the three that are intact. I got four of each of the intact butterflies and carefully layered them up - that's the white border you see on the butterflies. It adds dimension and oomph to the butterflies. How nice!
Then I ran the border die again on various patterned paper, picked the ones I like and arranged them to my pleasing.
I was inspired by the card made by Melania Deasy at The Cutting Edge Challenge #5:
I kept her original design and used die cuts for the main focal point. She had open and solid flowers so I made some butterflies with a thick white borders and some without.
