Another Attempt to Conquer Hexagons

I mentioned last week that even though I love the look and feel of hexagons I am not a pro in incorporating them in my projects.  Well, in that case I'll keep challenging myself until I become comfortable with them.

I've made another card using hexagons:


I think this one is better than the last one I made.  I like it!

The card is made based on the sketch from Sketch Saturday:


With all those hexagons it is entering the challenge at Less is More - Hexagons.

And this card is entering the challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare - Honey.  I've used Cocoa, Cashmere and Honey.  No other colors.  I had never tried this combo before but I started with confidence that I could use the color palette from Buzz and Bumble paper packet by slightly changing Sunset to Honey.  It worked well.  Don't you think?
