I saw this sketch at Nacho Average Challenge #35:
and my mind went blank for a while. What? Triangles? What am I going to do with this sketch?
I can't tell you how long it took my brain to resume its function, but I can tell you that it was LONG, really long.
I doodled on my scratch paper and finally came up with this:
Just black, white and Cranberry cardstock for this card. I purposefully used only one glue dot to attach the collar (? how do you call that part? Sorry, really low in vocabulary for men's fashion. :P) so it is not entirely stuck down to imitate some dimension in a real tux/jacket. I made the bow using Artiste cartridge and assembled it with a brad. Finally two silver buttons are attached to finish it off.
The inside of the card looks like this:
When I've finished this card I felt that my mental burden has been relieved. It feels really good that I can overcome a challenge that is so challenging!
This card is also entering the challenge at Heart 2 Heart challenges - CAS. Just plain old cardstocks and simple scoring, can it be more CAS than this?
Thanks for stopping by!
