A Mother's Day card

Unless I feel like making more Mother's Day cards I should be done for this year.  It is quite a relief as it is the second biggest occasion that I needs the most number of cards.  The biggest one?  Christmas of course!  I don't have such a strong urge to make Father's Day cards, let's see if it will change this year.

I can't resist the sketch at Sketchbook Saturday.  The challenge host Iwona was at her 40th week pregnancy when it was posted, I appreciate what she is doing for us bloggers and I wish her all the best for the delivery and the new baby!

Onto the wonderful sketch, isn't it fabulous?

My Mother's Day card follows the sketch closely:

My card is also entering the challenge at The Paper Players:

and Amusing challenges -  Mother's Day.

Be sure to check out those challenge blogs for Mother's Day project ideas!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. A very pretty card, Joyce! I love how you positioned the flowers and the leaves. The blue is the perfect pop of color. Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!
