Bright Colors Part III

Warning!  Wear sunglasses before proceeding to read the post.  Warning!

Glaring bright?  I like the vibrant colors.

The starburst circle die has been sitting in my drawer for a long tme.  I just couldn't figure out how to use it.  When I was playing with the bright colors for Tuesday's and yesterday's card, I thought the bright colors should be used together with this die.  I am glad that the bright colors go along very well with it and of course the fact that I've finally used the die justifies my impulse purchase!

The process of making this card tested my patience.  I first cut out a template with the die for coloring purposes then cut the one that's actally for use.  To line them up is one of the most difficult task and while the rings of circles sit so closely together, coloring within the "lines" was tricky.  Gluing two pieces together is another test for my patience as slight offset could result in shift in colors.  I them stamped the greeting and pop it up with foam tape, added some baker's twine and mounted it on Sunset cardstock to finish it up.

I am not going to count the number of circles but I am entering this card to the challenge at Addicted to CAS:

And it is entering the challenge at Bearlymine - Anything Goes.

That concludes the trilogy of bright colors.  I have enjoyed them a lot and thanks for stopping by!
